Our youngsters will be introduced to various fun warm up, stretching, and coordination exercises to prepare and strengthen their bodies for more agile and fun physical activities. With emphasis on team games, the kids learn to respect each other and how to have fun together. Under the careful and knowledgeable observation of our instructors, our kiddos will participate in customized exercise activities utilizing their own bodies as well as strategic obstacle courses and equipment.
Judo Kids (Ages 6-8): Our Judo Kids class takes our kids to the next level of physical conditioning and Judo martial arts education. Kids will be introduced to initial ideas of Judo and basic Japanese terms. Your child will learn to handle challenges—both on and off the mat. Belt ranks are considered in this age group.
Judo Juniors (Ages 9-12): Continuing to foster the techniques and principles of Judo, our juniors advance to higher levels of physical conditioning and Judo education. Interested students may be eligible to attend competitive tournaments. School education continues to be paramount and belt ranking tests continue.
Judo Teenagers and Adults: While suitable for all levels, more advanced physical conditioning and competitive Judo is taught. The emotional and social development of our teens is simultaneously fostered with their physical development. Interested students may be eligible to attend competitive tournaments. School education continues to be vital part of our program. Adults classes are customized according to ability and experience for each participant. Judo principles and philosophies are applied to training to encompass a broad array of basic and critical skills. Interested students may be eligible to attend competitive tournaments and belt ranking tests. With an emphasis on getting physically fit and maintain healthy body conditions, self-defense and principles of Judo as martial art keep the class motivated and exciting.
