Testimonials

Matthew Saliba

I am a martial artist and wanted my son to continue to gain all the benefits of the arts. He has trained jujitsu and loved it but due to schedules we needed to find a place closer to home. He was reluctant to train anywhere else and loyal to his jujitsu Sensei but really wanted to get back on the mats. I checked out several places and was disappointed to find most were just "kiddie" classes with inexperienced instructors and very little if no actual training or techniques. Then I found IJC and think we found the right fit. The instrutors are attentive, caring and strong martial artist all with extensive experience. They teach technical judo and ensure each member of the team perfects their moves, respects the Dojo and respect each other and themselves. The team took in my son and made him feel part of the family and encourage each other and assist each other as part of the norm. The classes are filled with meaningful training and rigorous and relevant drills and warm ups. My son smiles the entire class and the tougher it is the more he likes it. For the real deal Judo experience check out IJC. They have my stamp of approval.
